APK Registry Cleaning Engine 2002++ SR-7

(Multi-Threaded design along w/ built-in CPU priority allotment (from LOW, to NORMAL, to HIGH, to REALTIME (not for single-cpu rigs)), & has outdone versions by Microsoft, Norton/Symantec, AShampoo, Juoni Vuorio, & others who have created registry cleaners everytime in tests on various forums, w/ users OWN registry unaltered by .reg file injection of "test" (rigged) datasets!)

Special fix for VISTA users is needed. Can be done during installation
of the program, OR manually by 2 methods noted by the

APKRegCleanInstall.txt

Which ships inside the program, along with a .reg file to merge to reset
a cosmetic feature that offends some VISTA setups due to video display
difference in VISTA, vs. Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP/Server 2003... easy to
do, one extra step during install, OR 1 extra step via the program's mainscreen interface AESTHETICS menu, Adjust Window Zoom submenu item.

(Another also exists, by using desktop compositing features in the properties
of the application's shortcut, but this is the least preferred method, as the
program runs fine w/ out having to make the OS, make it run right (credits to FORUMS.TECHPOWERUP.COM user Wile E, for discovering this fix independently))

The .reg file also featured below is for users that already have the program & wish to migrate it to VISTA, painlessly. It is using that, or using the manual fixes noted in its readme inside the attached new distro zipfile here!

Per Mark Weigel (tester on VISTA with Wile E of forums.techpowerup.com):

I selected the "APKRegistryCleaner.exe' file with a right click and selected "run as administrator" even though administrator is already my context.

The program runs faster probably 5x and the program window appears solid while the program runs (The text in the top and bottom bars races through changes as the test progress is displayed, but the static portions of the window do not flicker).

Also, now the Deleted entries stay deleted!

All .exe files have an extra selection to run as administrator when the
mouse is right clicked on the file.

Very nice, I saw my name on the download site, glad I could help. I could
make money doing that, might be fun.

I work in ground equipment for satellite communications (mostly satellite

By the way, since I clicked on the .exe file that one time as administrator
Vista saved the configuration, and it is no longer necessary right click
first.

**Once this is performed the first time (rightclick RunAs Administrator)? VISTA saves the setting and it is never required again!**
